What Has Happened in the Crazy World Of Aubrey (Part 2)

This picture was left out of the last post, and because I love tigers I decided I would stick it in this post. When I went to the zoo with my family, there was a bridge over by these bad kitties (some of you who have been to Hoogle Zoo will know what I'm talking about.) and there was a tiger pacing back and forth on it and sometimes he would lay down to stare the zoobies passing by.
This one is for Ashley and all you other snuggie lovers. Sorry, but I just wanted everyone to see this and enjoy it before we moved on.This next picture is for Ashley too. She loves wolves and i can remember a lot of her wolf drawings so now whenever I see a wolf I connect it to Ashley. I accidentally left it our of my last post.

Okay! So in this post we shall finish up all the fun things I did this summer. The picture below is from my last day of summer. The day before I started college I went to the jumpstart orientation with some friends. This is a result of on of those "add-on" games. Notice the 3D features? (For a good time, click on it)

As normal, we are going out of order. I saw a lot of plays over the summer! On of them was Annie Get your Gun at the Scera Shell. When I was really young, a close friend of mine gave me a postcard with Annie on it. She said it reminded her of me. Now that I have seen the play I totally understand! ha ha I was blessed with the experience of going with my cute niece! She loved it!
Isn't she photogenic? I use to have one of these as my laptop background.
I was also given the unique opportunity to be apart of a national paramedic test!
This, my friends, is not real. It's called a moulage (Like the Moulin Rouge mixed into one word). I have never had so much fun during a test! What a blast it was! I got to learn a lot of stuff, meet a lot of new people, and make a lot of unforgettable memories. One of my co-victims was Rachel (from the previous post) who is modeling how to wear the moulage. I really hope they invite me back!
And that's what I did over the summer. I have so many more stories to share and adventures to tell! summer was just the beginning of something big and grand! College has been one of the best experiences of my life and I can't wait to tell you more about it!
Look for another blog post to come soon!

What Comes in Bloom

So I pretty much stink at this blog thing. I didn't want to post anything until I could change my blog's background but oh well... (If anyone can help me change it, I would be very grateful to you!)
With spring and summer here, things tend to take bloom. Both flowers and children! It is my blessed job to water the plants and every now and then a little bloomer will come and assist me.

Watch out world or else this little fairy will come to your garden and take over your watering pot! This is my niece, Sarah, and she LOVES to help water the plants! It's her favorite thing to do at Aunt "Arbry's" house. To take this picture I took the step of letting her hold the can herself and look how well she did even the the watering bucket's as big as her! She's amazing! If I could water with her everyday, I would.
This little elf is my youngest nephew, Coleman. He's a little like Sarah in the way that if he wants to do something, he'll do it. He's also a BIG help! I got to take care of him for a weekend and I'm so glad I did! He's a whipper-snapper! ha ha The funny story picture behind this picture is that we had too many (3 people is too many, we had 4) helpers so we used an actual bucket and a bunch of cups. The garden fairies would follow me with their cups and water whatever plant I had just watered. Eventually the water line in the bucket would get to low for kiddies to reach, but that wouldn't stop Cole! Just moments before I took the picture he had his feet off the ground while he reached inside. So cute! I bet you had nephews and nieces like mine.
I got an award! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! ha ha This would be my first award thus far. I would like to thank Ashley for making my blog, Ashley for giving me the award, my family for giving me something to blog about (and for) and Ashley for nudging me to post every now and then. To see what I got the award for visit http://ashleyserena.blogspot.com/2010/06/youre-going-places-award.html and enjoy! Thank you Thank you Thank you Ashley!!

What Hollywood Has to Look Forward To

I have never played with an iCam (or whatever it's called) before and here we have it recorded. Fun times with Ashley!
I love the picture above because it's just plain funny. We had a lot of belly laughs.
Ashley has a fish head!
I tend to eat big heads late at night. Sorry if I horrify you.
Looks kinda creepy. I do that is. Ashley NEVER looks creepy.
I'm becoming one with Ashley's fish. This worries her.
But not as much as when I start becoming one with myself again.
I think I look like Bryn in this one. Just a little. Like all good friends, Ash and I sometimes argue.
"Hey there good looking!"
Sometimes Ashley needs a big head to feast upon. I need to stop using that volumizing stuff.
BIG anime eyes! (Or in Ash's case: Big anime EYE)
We art aliens. We art appy aliens.
In this one, we had the picture on 2. But by three we both started laughing.
I am the mummy!!!! Or I'm shocked at Ash. I like the mummy theory better. You decide.
I promise you we were NOT high while taking these. (Sorry for ruining the pic Ash!)
Kinda scary. Won't lie.
"Oh my!" Our ode to black and white pictures. (Movie pictures that is)
A black and white world gets boring fast. So what happens? Ash takes a nap and little miss Ichigo gets even more ADD.
I killed this picture. (no pun intended) I was saying something about a sheriff and Ash couldn't help to laugh. So here you go! Our ode to the wild wild west.
If Bryn could see me now! My how his little Ichigo has grown!

Boo.
I have cancer!

Good-bye!

Wasn't that fun! (The comments ARE working. And they ARE welcome) Sorry I have no announcment. But imagine what the paperazzi has in store... ;)
Happy trails!!!

10 Things That Make ME Happy

!This one is for Ashley because she started it. Here are ten things that make me happy in no particular order. I don't even think they are the top ten things that make me happy but they do make me happy and that's all that matters. Happieness makes the world a better place. Just like cookies!
  • Movie Roles! (Hey. It could happen. And if it did it would make me MUCHO happy!)
  • Having money in my bank account AND a good sized wade in my pocket
  • DB/"German Boy" (If you think you know what I'm talking about, you don't. You either know it or you don't)
  • Marie! (Even if she isn't around anymore, I bet she's sending me happiness from the other side)
  • Belting at the top of my lungs and dancing! With friends makes it better.
  • Getting asked out on a date by a cute boy (Hey, I'm aloud to dream of a Prince ona white steed too!)
  • Traveling. No explanation really needed.
  • Getting a text from a friend.
  • Letters!
  • Learning a new song on the guitar.
  • Making a difference. Maybe I'll expand on that in a different post
So there you go. Some may be silly some you may actually agree with. So what makes you happy? You can post it on your blog or you can put it on a comment. Even you Ashley.
Happy trails!

Cookie Day!

"As soon as you learn to trust yourself you will know how to live."
-I can't remember who
I know that quote is completely irrelevant (Yes, I used the word irrelevant) to the rest of the post but I like it. So there.
I spent all morning and into the afternoon slaving on these cookies. And you know what? They actually turned out good! (As you will see later) Like really good. Chocolate chip cookies all the way baby! So how do you make these really good cookies? I'll tell you!
1 cup sugar 3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar 12 ounces Chocolate chips (who am I kidding? Add as many as
2 eggs you want)
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla Lots of love
1 teaspoon baking soda Ryan Shupe and The Rubberband (music)
1 teaspoon salt
Mix butter, sugars (make sure you mix those together first), eggs, and vanilla. Then stir in everything else except the chocolate chips. When that's all stired in then you can stir in the chips.
Bake oven at 375f for 10- 12 minutes. (10 worked pretty well for me) Then voila!
Reminder: Don't forget to dance while you cook and while you wait for the cookies to bake!
My "co-chiefs" Ginger and Franklin. They gave me moral support from afar. (after this picture they left me for there bones) I love how Franklin would react to the clicky noise that the camera would make. So cute!

Of course, your's truly took the on the role of head chief. It's a job someone has to do.

It's a small sacrifice for cookies. I still don't know why my lips and tongue look purple.

I"M GONNA EATCHU COOKIES!!! The cookies took a lomg time to bake.

I just had to take advantage of the lighting. There were alot of batches to bake.

I think this one just looks interesting. I'm glad I was the only one home. It's one of those things that just shouldn't be seen. (Who you really are is you are when no one else is around.) These pictures are just a glimpse. Sadly.

I made about 85 cookies. Not all of them made it to the end but they are in a happier place now. And they made room for other cookies on the cooling racks.

Don't they look SOOOO GOOOD! I know you want one.
Sadly, soon after I got a picture from one Ashley Harmon of some cookies with a subtext telling me her mom made some cookies too. Geez, I'm always getting topped...

Fathers Day Weekend

"When you wish upon a star, it makes no difference who you are"
Jimminy

It was a bust weekend for me, and it all started on Saturday.... [cue magical noise]

On Friday I got a phone call from my friend telling me that I could be an extra in a movie. So on Saturday, I got all prettied up in a prom dress (see above) and left to the filming set. The scene was filmed at Thanksgiving Point. It was magical to say the least (hmmm... I feel an anology coming on... stay tuned). It even stopped raining just when we needed it to. Filming started around 8 o'clock pm but call time was 7:45. When did it end you ask? I got home a little after 3 in the morning. And you know what? It was SOOOOOOOOOO worth it. I would do it again in less then a heart beat. Most of us were paired up with a "date". My "date's" name is Bobby. If you're woundering he's almost 21. He was a really cool guy. There are so many stories I could tell you. But I won't. Sorry. ButI will tell you that we are for sure in the movie. So when you're watching You're so Cupid on ABC Family and the prom scene comes on you will see me (quite a few times actually). Yes it got cold but I didn't mind. It was really funny because when evryone was tired and cold and complaining I couldn't really figure out what they where talking about because I was having the time of my life! Enough about that though. (you're probably sick about here about it) Are you ready for the analogy now? (I warned you)

  • Fairy Godmother = Ashley (In SO many ways. Thank you tons Ashley!)
  • Ball Gown = Prom Dress
  • Ball = Fake Prom
  • The had a pumpkin-like carraige there
  • I guess you could say there was a prince but I never got to meet him.
  • Gorgeous Garden = Gorgeous Garden
  • Dream come true for one night = A Dream come true

There's a few. I'm sure you can make a few more connections. Any hoot... The next day (Actually tecnically it was the same day seeing how I got home at 3) was Fathers day. Peter and I sang in church together. In my opinion I crashed and burned. Yes it was scary and I was very nervous. My parents (especaillly Dad) were happy because we couldn't say anything embarassing. I knew we should have sang "our" version instead of the real Love is Spoken Here.

Then after church we had to work like the dickens because we were haveing copany over. I was still tired from the night before (So worth it) and I also had a headache. But I survived. Dinner with my family is always crazy. Peter and I started it off by knocking down a big hornets nest from one of the window wells then booking it into the house. I wish I had pictures but I didn't even stick around long enough to see if Peter actually knocked it down. Dinner was GOOOOOOOD... With extra OOOOs in the middle. As fun as dinner was, I still was in a bit of a cloud from the previous night.

Needless to say that I had a busy weekend. Now I know that I am serious about doing film acting. It's something I really want to do. If anyone knows a really good agent, please tell them about me. I'm still going to major in Culinary Arts (so don't worry Mom). I will not deny that this has been an intersting post and if you have made it this far, then good on ya guddy (guy +buddy. Bobby made it up after one of the takes)! Hope you all had a great Fathers Day!
